Henry Bevington

Henry Bevington born between 1752 and 1755 in Maryland; died in 1843 in Wayne County, Ohio. Family stories say that he had a leg amputated. He was married to an unknown woman who must have died before 3 May 1779, because on that date he married Ann BLACKSON or BLACKNON in the Evangelical Lutheran Church  in Frederick County, Maryland.  Little is known about her. Her maiden name is uncertain, she was a widow so this might have  been her married name. Henry and Ann had nine children:little girl from long ago

  1. John Bevington born 21 May 1780; died 30 August 1854.
  2. Charles Bevington born 1783; died 1 June 1850.
  3. Martha Bevington born 1785.
  4. Alexander Bevington born 15 April 1790; died 29 January 1875.
  5. Henry Bevington, Jr. born 1788 in Maryland
  6. Lucinda Bevington born 5 September 1796; died 9 September 1882.
  7. Thomas F. Bevington born 10 May 1802; died 10 January 1878.
  8. Benjamin B. Bevington born 10 June 1807; died 21 April 1882.  For more information click --here--.
